Principal Involvement
is the key to achieving excellent projects that are responsive to each client’s aesthetic and functional requirements. Tony Menefee and Jim Winer are involved with each job in the office on a daily basis as lead architects. Over 90% of principal time is spent working on projects. It is very unusual, but of great benefit to the client, for practitioners with over twenty years of experience to be so intensely involved with projects.
Principal Philosophy
encompasses a desire to evolve as practitioners, to achieve design excellence, to strive for a high level of technical rigor, and to serve their clients well by listening to them carefully and relentlessly targeting their goals. In short, the principals work hard to honor the faith their clients have placed in them by making a personal commitment to their projects and by delivering excellence.
Source of Work
Menefee+Winer receive most of their commissions from repeat business and word of mouth, evidence of satisfied clients.
The Work
The intensity and resolution of detail and the creative range exhibited in the work of Menefee+Winer show how closely they work with their clients and how seriously they take their projects.
Environmentally Friendly Practices
Menefee+Winer offers LEED® expertise on all of their projects, as both principals are LEED Accredited Professionals. Their office at 1075 Brady Avenue is Georgia’s first LEED-NC architecture office, earning a Silver rating.
